Each project was a testament to the power of language as a tool for building understanding and fostering unity.

As we reflect on November’s achievements, we take pride in the role we played in creating connections and ensuring clarity in communication for our valued clients and partners.

Corporate Conversations: Breaking Down Barriers in Business

In the corporate world, clear and inclusive communication is essential for success. This November, AML-Global worked with some of the most dynamic organizations to ensure their communication needs were met with precision and professionalism.

A leading marketing organization utilized 54 hours of on-site American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting, ensuring inclusivity during key events and internal discussions. Similarly, a major auditing and consultancy firm benefited from 98 hours of on-site ASL interpreting, reinforcing their commitment to accessibility. Another renowned consulting firm combined services, using approximately 20 hours of on-site ASL interpreting, VRI ASL, and VRI CART, to accommodate their diverse communication requirements.

Additionally, a global logistics software leader relied on 200 hours of on-site and VRI Italian interpreting to facilitate seamless communication in their international operations. Finally, a major automotive manufacturer engaged our team for 30 hours of on-site Spanish interpreting, ensuring effective communication during high-profile events.

We also had the opportunity to provide 18 hours of on-site ASL interpreting for a respected organization dedicated to serving individuals with diverse communication needs. Our highly skilled interpreters ensured clear and effective communication, supporting the organization in fostering an inclusive and accessible environment. This project highlights our commitment to breaking communication barriers and delivering exceptional ASL interpreting services tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

Healing Words: Supporting Communication in Healthcare

The healthcare and life sciences industries depend on precise language services to achieve the best outcomes for patients, stakeholders, and communities. In November, AML-Global’s expertise ensured successful communication in several critical projects.

At an international event, a pharmaceutical company required 40 hours of Spanish simultaneous interpreting, supported by interpreting equipment, to foster effective multilingual discussions. Moreover, public health professionals utilized 12 hours of VRI Spanish interpreting, helping them connect with Spanish-speaking communities and ensuring vital information was understood.

We also had the privilege of supporting a leading global medical diagnostics company in translating over 2,000 words across various European languages. The project involved translating both from and into languages such as Danish, Swedish, Polish, Italian, Greek, Finnish, French, and Norwegian, among others. Our expert linguists ensured precision and cultural relevance, enabling the organization to communicate effectively across diverse regions. This collaboration underscores our ability to handle complex multilingual projects and our dedication to delivering high-quality language services tailored to our clients’ needs.

A leading public university’s health division also entrusted AML-Global with translating 11,000 words into Armenian, Haitian Creole, Arabic, Dair, Pashto and Punjabi, enabling vital healthcare materials to reach diverse populations with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

Classrooms Without Borders: Empowering Education and Professional Growth

Education and professional development thrive on inclusivity and collaboration, and AML-Global was proud to contribute to this mission in November.

A prominent human resources management association utilized 32 hours of on-site ASL interpreting and 22 hours of Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART) services, ensuring their events were accessible to all participants. Meanwhile, a public school district in California enhanced engagement within its multilingual community by employing VRI and on-site interpreting in Spanish, ASL, Arabic, Mandarin, and Cantonese. These services bridged communication gaps between educators, students, and families, creating an inclusive environment where everyone could thrive.

A renowned public university in California partnered with AML-Global to translate 160,000 words into Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Hmong, Korean, Farsi, Tagalog, Khmer, Somali, and Eastern Armenian. These translations ensured that critical healthcare materials could effectively serve and support diverse communities, reflecting the university’s commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity. Our meticulous approach guaranteed the accuracy and accessibility of the materials, facilitating meaningful engagement across multiple linguistic and cultural groups.

Voices of Change: Amplifying Nonprofit and Governmental Missions

Nonprofit organizations and public entities often operate on a global scale, requiring expert language services to connect with diverse communities. This November, AML-Global supported their missions with precision and dedication.

An international humanitarian organization entrusted us with translating 21,866 words into French, ensuring their materials reached French-speaking audiences effectively. In another instance, a union representing nursing professionals utilized 26 hours of on-site ASL interpreting, empowering their members to engage fully in critical discussions and events.

On another note, we provided approximately 40 hours of simultaneous Spanish interpreting services, along with state-of-the-art interpreting equipment, for a government agency dedicated to environmental and urban planning initiatives. Our expert interpreters ensured seamless communication during critical discussions, supporting the organization’s efforts to engage Spanish-speaking stakeholders effectively. By combining skilled interpreting with advanced equipment, we facilitated clear and efficient dialogue, underscoring our dedication to delivering high-quality language solutions tailored to our clients’ specialized needs.

Native American Heritage Month: Celebrating the Rich Diversity of Indigenous Languages

November also marked Native American Heritage Month, a time to honor the history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous peoples across the United States. Language plays a pivotal role in this celebration, serving as a vessel of history, tradition, and identity for Native communities.

There are over 150 Native American languages still spoken in the U.S. today, each a living testament to the resilience and richness of Indigenous cultures. As part of this celebration, here are the Top 5 Most Spoken Native American Languages in the U.S.:

  • Navajo (Diné Bizaad): With over 170,000 speakers, Navajo is the most widely spoken Native language in the U.S., central to the cultural heritage of the Navajo Nation across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.
  • Cree (Nehiyaw): Spoken by over 90,000 people, Cree has a significant presence in northern U.S. states and Canada, with its various dialects contributing to its diversity.
  • Ojibwe (Anishinaabemowin): Around 50,000 speakers keep Ojibwe alive across the Great Lakes region, with community-based programs and digital tools driving its preservation.
  • Cherokee (Tsalagi Gawonihisdi): Approximately 20,000 people speak Cherokee, supported by immersion schools and public initiatives from the Cherokee Nation.
  • Dakota (Sioux): Spoken by around 18,000 people, Dakota remains integral to cultural practices and ceremonies among Dakota and Lakota communities.

At AML-Global, we are proud to support the preservation of Indigenous languages through professional translation and interpretation services. Every project we undertake in this realm is a step toward fostering understanding, preserving cultural identity, and ensuring these invaluable languages thrive for generations to come.
