From higher education to government, healthcare, corporate, and non-profit sectors, our language services have enabled diverse communities to connect and thrive. This month, we further expanded our reach by providing crucial interpreting and translation services to support vital initiatives and projects, ensuring that language is never a barrier to success.

Global Health, Local Understanding: AML-Global’s Language Services for Healthcare

At AML-Global, we are proud to support key organizations in the health sector by providing language services that ensure vital healthcare information is accessible to diverse communities. Our expertise in interpreting and translation allows healthcare providers and institutions to effectively communicate with patients, professionals, and stakeholders across multiple languages, contributing to better health outcomes and inclusive care.

Recently, we worked with a leading national association in the pharmaceutical industry, where we delivered 66 hours of on-site ASL interpreting. These services ensured that their conferences, discussions, and training sessions were accessible to all participants, supporting the organization’s commitment to inclusivity in healthcare.

In collaboration with a medical diagnostics company, we translated 12,600 words of critical documentation into multiple languages, including Italian, French, Czech, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Bulgarian, Slovak, and others. This project helped the company meet regulatory requirements and ensure that its healthcare products could be safely and effectively used across various markets.

Furthermore, AML-Global partnered with a renowned university medical center, translating 228,230 words of important health information into Hmong, Farsi, Haitian Creole, Punjabi, Russian, Chinese (traditional and simplified), and Spanish. Our translation services ensured that patients and their families had access to clear and culturally appropriate health information in their native languages, fostering better understanding and engagement with healthcare services.

Through these partnerships, AML-Global continues to make a meaningful impact in the health sector, helping organizations communicate vital information clearly and inclusively across linguistic and cultural barriers.

Partnering for Good: How AML-Global Enables Non-Profits with Language Solutions

At AML-Global, we take great pride in collaborating with non-profit organizations in their efforts to create positive change in communities worldwide. Through our language services, we help ensure that their messages reach diverse audiences, breaking language barriers and fostering inclusion.

Recently, we partnered with an African think tank focused on driving sustainable economic development across the continent. For them, we provided 8 hours of French simultaneous Interpreting and equipment, making important discussions on economic transformation accessible to a wider audience.

For a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to advancing research in education, health, and social sciences, AML-Global provided 22 hours of ASL Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and 13 hours of remote CART services. These language access services ensured that critical meetings and presentations were accessible to participants who are deaf or hard of hearing, promoting inclusivity and enabling clear communication across diverse audiences. By offering both interpreting and real-time transcription services, we helped the organization meet its mission of fostering collaboration and equity in all areas of its work.

We also worked with a national association dedicated to promoting recreation, health, and community engagement through public parks. In this collaboration, we provided 10 hours of on-site ASL interpreting, ensuring that their events were inclusive for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

For a global humanitarian organization focused on improving the lives of children in need, AML-Global translated 28,755 words into Spanish and French, ensuring that crucial documents were accessible to international partners. Additionally, we offered desktop publishing (DTP) services to ensure that the translations retained a professional layout and design.

Finally, we supported a healthcare-focused non-profit that works in rural areas by providing 16 hours of on-site French interpreting, facilitating communication between medical professionals and local communities during a healthcare outreach program.

Through these partnerships, AML-Global continues to play a vital role in helping non-profit organizations communicate effectively across languages and cultures, enhancing their ability to make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

October is International Plain Language Month!

Did you know that October is dedicated to promoting clearer, more accessible communication? It’s International Plain Language Month, a time to raise awareness about the importance of using straightforward, easy-to-understand language in everything from legal documents to healthcare forms and government communications. The goal is simple: ensure that all people, regardless of language or literacy level, can understand important information.

At AML-Global, we’re proud to say that we translate and interpret every language in the world. Whether it’s simplifying complex documents for Spanish, Arabic, or Amharic speakers, or providing interpreting services in over 10 languages, including Tagalog, we know that clear communication is the cornerstone of inclusivity.

Why is Plain Language Important?

  • Accessibility – Plain language helps non-native speakers, individuals with low literacy, and people with cognitive disabilities understand complex information without confusion.
  • Trust – By simplifying complex documents, we foster trust between organizations and their clients, ensuring transparency and reducing misunderstandings.
  • Efficiency – Using clear, concise language can save time and resources. There’s less need for follow-up questions, corrections, or clarifications.

How We Support Plain Language

At AML-Global, our language services go beyond simple translation. We ensure that content is not just translated but also made understandable for every audience. Whether it’s translating healthcare documents or providing interpreting services in courts, conferences, and educational settings, we are committed to making communication clear and accessible in every language.

So, as we celebrate International Plain Language Month this October, let’s remember simplifying language is a powerful tool for inclusivity. And it’s a big part of what AML-Global does every day.
