Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and that spells great news for restaurants, flower shops, candy stores, movie theaters and jewelers. The results of a recent survey conducted by the National Retail Federation (NRF) indicate that 55% of Americans will celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, and total spending for this popular holiday will reach $19.7 billion, which is an all-time high. It is also a big time for business. Valentine’s Day makes a lot of people happy and puts a big smile on people’s faces. Romances are kindled and people tend to be in a good mood.
Every year, American Language Services brings in chocolates, other goodies and gifts to spread the cheer for Valentine’s Day. As an expert provider of document translation services for small to very large businesses and everything in between, we want to thank our world-class customers who give us the opportunity to put a smile on their face. Here is one example of resent work done by our team for Louisiana State University on the subject of WMD Guidebook; our team translated a series of complicated documents from English to Arabic. Also we did a huge multimedia project for Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service on the subject of ‘Labor Management Committees’. The project was completed in 8 languages from English to French, Spanish, Bengali, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, Creole, and Sesotho. The process in this project was to first translate each of the modules into a specific target language, then localize it for an audio read. We then created the audio files in each of the languages and perfected the audio sync up through our engineering services. Multiple interpreters worked together for minimum of 8 hours per language to make the project successful with attention to details. Moreover, production services like editing, mixing, overdubbing, re-recording, graphics localization were also utilized. Interpreting services provided by American Language Services is the ideal solution for circumstances when you need an interpreter at your side. Ideal for critical or sensitive situations, meetings planned in advance, and communication that requires extra human interaction. Visual contact of a face-to-face interpreter helps reduce risk of misunderstanding.
Another service recently completed was for interpreting. A project completed by our team for Daiichi Sankyo. They needed interpreting services in Japanese language just two days after the Valentine’s Day. We can work with one person in an office or thousands of people in an auditorium or reaching out to millions of people in webinars. Whether your needs are immediate in nature, same day, or looking six months ahead, we will be there for you.
American Language Services also sold interpreting equipment to State Council for Developmental Disabilities. We sold multiple units of William sound wireless headset & receivers and wireless transmitters + headsets. We can provide the best and most current equipment for any interpreting situation to help meet the challenges of your language interpretation application – whether at school, at a conference, in a house of worship, or in a courtroom.
