American Language Services has been awarded its ISO 13485 and 90001 Certifications. This marks the fourth renewal of these highly coveted certifications. The ISO 13485 certification affirms the company’s excellence in its quality procedures and standards for the medical device, medical manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
For the last three decades, AML-Global has provided document translation, desktop publishing, interpretation, transcriptions, and multimedia services (voiceover, dubbing and subtitling) to organizations worldwide. The company has experience in medical, legal, financial, entertainment, and many other industries. AML-Global provides language services in over 200 languages.
“We are very proud to announce our renewal of our ISO certifications,” President Dina Spevack commented. “The cornerstone of our company is our quality management standards, and having been recognized for that again is a real honor.
“We’re also very pleased with our medical certification as well,” Spevack added. “The medical industry can be full of complex language and terminology. But to know that ISO attests that we have the people and processes in place to do this work in at the highest level is a great feeling.”
Having completed work for companies like Karl Storz-Endoskope, DaVita, Innovative Medical Device, Humana Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, among others, AML-Global has seen a remarkable increase in work for the medical supply field. As a result, the organization has added even more translators and editors qualified in this complex field to accommodate the increased workload.
