September Successes: Advancing Communication, Inclusivity, and Global Engagement

September marked another exceptional month for AML-Global as we expanded our mission to break down communication barriers and promote inclusivity across a diverse range of industries. From educational institutions to non-profit organizations, luxury brands, and scientific communities, our language services helped empower individuals and organizations to connect, collaborate, and thrive. Whether it was translating critical documents, providing real-time interpreting, or ensuring accessibility for the Deaf community, our commitment to making communication seamless and equitable has never been stronger.

As we reflect on September’s highlights, we take pride in the milestones achieved in multilingual education, support for non-profits and NGOs, scientific collaborations, and our celebration of the International Day of Sign Languages. Each of these projects underscores our vision to create a world where everyone has a voice and access to the information they need, regardless of language or ability.

Supporting Education Through Multilingual Access

In September, AML-Global deepened its commitment to fostering inclusivity and effective communication within the education sector. As schools and universities across the U.S. work toward creating environments where students from diverse linguistic backgrounds can thrive, our language services have been essential in breaking down barriers and ensuring equitable access to education.

For a Southern California school district, we provided 17 hours of on-site interpreting services in Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Swahili. This service enabled students and families to fully engage in school events, ensuring important information was conveyed clearly, regardless of the language spoken at home.

In the Midwest, a school district worked closely with AML-Global to meet the needs of its Spanish-speaking students and parents. Our team translated 9,000 words into Spanish for key documents and provided 4 hours of Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) in Spanish for meetings, enabling real-time communication. Additionally, at a prestigious Midwestern university, we provided 32 hours of Spanish interpreting services, helping Spanish-speaking students, faculty, and families fully participate in academic activities and events, fostering inclusivity and campus engagement.

Meanwhile, a large university in the Southeastern U.S. benefitted from 100 hours of on-site simultaneous interpreting in Spanish, along with interpreting equipment, to support key academic events. This service facilitated seamless communication, enhancing participation and engagement for Spanish-speaking attendees.

On the West Coast, a leading medical university entrusted us with translating over 177,000 words into and from Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian, and Tagalog. These translations were crucial for the university’s outreach, ensuring that critical academic and medical information reached their diverse student body.

At a health-focused university in Northern California, we played a pivotal role in bridging language gaps in both academic and healthcare settings. We translated over 106,000 words into languages such as Arabic, Amharic, Spanish, Korean, Hmong, and others, supporting both academic programs and healthcare outreach. This helped students, medical staff, and patients access vital educational and medical information, further advancing the institution’s mission of inclusive care and education.

Additionally, a community college in California relied on us for 24 hours of ASL interpreting to ensure Deaf students had full access to classroom instruction and activities. This aligns with our mission to make education accessible to all, regardless of hearing ability.

By providing a wide range of language services, from interpreting to translation, AML-Global continues to support educational institutions in creating inclusive and welcoming environments where all students can succeed.

Contributing to Non-Profit and NGO Initiatives

In September, AML-Global proudly partnered with several non-profit and non-governmental organizations committed to creating positive change. Our language services played a vital role in helping these organizations reach and support diverse communities.

For a prominent international children’s advocacy group, we translated 130,000 words into Spanish. These translations ensured that vital information related to child welfare, education, and health reached Spanish-speaking communities, amplifying the organization’s impact on vulnerable populations.

Additionally, we provided 108 hours of ASL interpreting for a national hotline dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence. Our interpreters ensured that Deaf individuals had equal access to critical resources and guidance, reinforcing the hotline’s commitment to serving all individuals in crisis, regardless of hearing ability.

For a global peace-building organization, we facilitated 15 hours of Japanese interpreting during key discussions aimed at fostering international understanding and cooperation. By bridging cultural and language barriers, we enabled participants to fully engage in conversations focused on peace and global unity.

Through our collaboration with these impactful organizations, AML-Global continues to ensure that language is never a barrier to progress or support.

Advancing Science and Development Through Language and Accessibility

AML-Global made a significant contribution to the fields of science and development in September by partnering with key organizations that rely on precise communication and accessibility.

For an international engineering and consulting firm focused on environmental and infrastructure projects, we translated over 271,000 words into French and Spanish. These translations included technical documents such as environmental assessments and project reports. Our services enabled the firm to engage effectively with stakeholders and partners in French- and Spanish-speaking regions, ensuring seamless collaboration on global projects aimed at advancing sustainable development.

At the same time, we provided 64 hours of ASL interpreting for a renowned geological organization, ensuring that Deaf participants could fully engage in discussions, presentations, and workshops. By promoting inclusivity in scientific research and collaboration, we helped create a more accessible environment where all voices could contribute to and benefit from groundbreaking discoveries.

Our work with these organizations underscores AML-Global’s commitment to advancing science and development by breaking down linguistic and accessibility barriers.

Empowering Global Brands and Institutions Through Multilingual Services

In September, AML-Global extended its services to several high-profile clients, providing tailored language solutions that ensured seamless communication across borders and industries.

For a luxury fashion brand, we delivered 17 hours of French simultaneous interpreting and provided interpreting equipment for a major international event. This ensured that French-speaking participants and global stakeholders could communicate clearly, upholding the brand’s high standards for international engagement.

We also supported a multinational corporation specializing in hygiene and personal care products by providing 14 hours of simultaneous interpreting services during important meetings. Our interpreting services facilitated productive discussions between international partners, ensuring that language barriers did not hinder collaboration.

For a standards authority based in Ireland, we provided 185 hours of interpreting in Mandarin and Portuguese. These services were essential for maintaining compliance and communication during technical assessments, helping the organization uphold international standards.

Additionally, we worked with a state commission focused on accessibility, translating 150,000 words into a wide range of languages, including Arabic, Armenian, Laotian, Hmong, Farsi, Vietnamese, Hindi, Punjabi, Chinese, and others. This large-scale translation project was vital for promoting accessibility and ensuring that information reached diverse linguistic communities.

Through these partnerships, AML-Global continues to demonstrate its ability to provide multilingual solutions tailored to the needs of global brands and institutions.

Celebrating the International Day of Sign Languages

On September 23rd, the world celebrated the International Day of Sign Languages, a day dedicated to recognizing the importance of sign languages as critical tools for communication and inclusivity. This day highlights the linguistic identity and cultural diversity of Deaf communities while raising awareness about their right to access education, services, and information through sign language.

At AML-Global, we proudly contribute to this mission by providing high-quality ASL interpreting services across sectors. Whether supporting students in education, facilitating medical discussions, or ensuring participation in corporate events, our ASL interpreters work tirelessly to break down barriers.

With more than 300 different sign languages globally, each with its own unique structure and cultural significance, sign language is essential for fostering inclusivity. In the U.S., ASL is the fourth most commonly used language. At AML-Global, we remain committed to helping organizations meet the needs of this growing community.

The International Day of Sign Languages reminds us that true inclusivity means making communication accessible for everyone, regardless of hearing ability. Through our ASL interpreting and CART services, we continue to ensure that Deaf individuals are empowered to participate fully in society.

September was a month of significant progress for AML-Global as we continued our mission of breaking down language barriers and promoting inclusivity across various sectors. From education and science to non-profit initiatives and global brands, our language services empowered organizations to communicate effectively and engage with diverse audiences. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of language or ability, has access to the information they need to succeed.
